It is the Memorial Tournament this week for Nathan as he seeks a means of finishing his tournaments off a little better then he has been of late.
"I played well at first last week in Fort Worth but as usual putted and chipped worse as week went on and that caused rest of game to deteriorate. I feel like I am hitting it ok this week, but only got 9 holes in today as I had to go up to Canada for a media day for the Canadian Open early in the week."
"The new venue up there this year looks great by the way but back to this week and after I played today I hit just a few balls as I am trying to stay fresh as possible. I have been a bit tired of late as poor golf leads to lots of early starts so hopefully I can get it going this week. The course is perfect - a little long for me perhaps and rain tonight won't help things much but hopefully there is a good week just around the corner."
This week's event is played at the Muirfield Village layout in Columbus in Ohio
with Nathan having played the tournament on three previous occasions, recording a
best of 20th in 2008. occasions.
Nathan plays US Open qualifying in Memphis on Monday and dependent of how things work out there will determine if he plays in Memphis or not.
