Nathan has safely made the cut at the Waste Management Phoneix Open after a second round of 68 at the TPC of Scottsdale has him two shots inside the cut-line.

With a low cut likely after good scoring conditions on the opening two days, Nathan needed an under par round today if he was to overcome a relatively slow start on day one. Three birdies and no bogeys was enough to get the job done and he gets his chance over the weekend to make further progres.

"It was a bit of a mixture today," said Nathan after his round. "I didn't putt that well although apart from a few tee shots I hit it a little better." 

Nathan is in 54th position.
