A double bogey at his final hole today was an agonising end to a second round at the Frys.com Open which had at times promised so much.

Three bogies in his last four holes on Thursday was a disappointing way to end round one and today Nathan walked from the course annoyed with finding the water with his second shot at the lengthy par four 18th.

At 5 under Nathan is well enough placed in 27th position and six from the lead but he will need something special over the weekedn if he is to move into contention.

Nathan is entered for next week's Viking Classic, an event he will play before heading to China for the HSBC Champions World Championship event.
