It was a battle today for Nathan at the PGA Championship, a round of 76 slipping him to 65th position heading into tomorrow's final round.

At even par as he made the turn, Nathan's round came unstuck with a series of bogies and a double bogey, dropping five shots in his next four holes before a fine approach to the par five 15th set up a birdie to stop the rot.  Three pars to finish completed a back nine of 40.

Nathan will play tomorrow with the prospect of a much needed break next week before the Fed Ex Cup playoffs.
