Nathan has missed the cut at the US Bank Championship after four bogies in his last ten holes in round two led to a round of 74 and a missed the cut by an agonising one shot.
Nathan's opening round of 68 had him in 17th position and despite an outward nine of one over par today he was still well inside the predicted cutline of 1 over as he headed into the back nine. A bogey at the 10th had him back to even par for the tournament but when he bogeyed the 13th he was on the cutline.
The par four 17th would prove crucial in his chances of being around for the weekend. With just 131 yards remaining, Nathan finished short of the green with his approach and was unable to get up and down and so needed a birdie at the par five last. Nathan found the fairway with his tee shot but his second from 237 yards came up just shot and he was unable to get up ad down.
Nathan is now entered to play next week's Canadian Open at Glen Abbey just outside of Toronto.
