Despite again finishing his round off with a late bogey, Nathan has safely made the halfway cut at the Players Championship and finds himself in 47th position at one under, ten shots behind the leader, Alex Cjeka. 

Nathan dropped three shots late in his round on day one and today he bogeyed his final hole after coming up short with his approach at one of the more difficult holes on the golf course at the TPC Sawgrass. It was however an improved showing on his opening round of 74.

Through 14 holes today he was four under for the day after almost holing out at the par three 14th. He had one further realistic chance at the par five 16th but missed from 10 feet and then came the bogey at the last.
