Nathan is making a good fist of his title defence at the Canadian Open, a second round of 5 under 65 moving him to 7 under and just three behind the leaders, Dean Wilson and Tim Clark.

Nathan's opening 36 holes have been virtually blemish free apart from a potentially tournament shattering triple bogey at his fifth hole in round one and on a golf course he is already developing a comfort zone with he has a chance to continue his progress in round three.

He will play tomorrow's third round with fellow New South Welshman Matt Jones.
