In what is likely to be his second to last start of the 2009 PGA Tour season, Nathan has made the cut at the Turning Stone Resort Championship in Verona, New York, improving with a second round of 70 to finish at 2 under and one shot inside the cutline of 1 under.

In the cold and damp weather Nathan has not had a great two days on the greens but his overall play has been solid. Nathan recovered from an early double bogey at his 4th hole of the day, where he found the water from the tee, to record four birdies and although eight shots behind Vaughn Taylor's lead, he has a chance to make progress over the weekend.
