Nathan is in San Antonio in Texas where whe will tee it up at the Valero Texas Open for the second time. Last year Nathan led after an opening round of 62 before eventually finishing 30th.

Last year the event was played in October but with the elevation of the tournament to Fed Ex Cup standing it has been brought forward and the prizemoney increased.

The La Cantera Resort  will again host the event although this will be the last occasion it does before the event moves to the new Greg Norman designed TPC course in San Antonio.

Nathan plays with fellow Australian Nick O'Hern and Jim Gallagher in the opening round with an opening day tee time of 8.15am.
