Nathan has slipped into a share of 14th position at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans after his second round of even par 72 left him five behind the halfway leader, Jerry Kelly.

A dropped shot at his par three final hole after missing the green right and failing to get up and down was a little annoying for Nathan but he is well enough positioned to push forward over the weekend.

"I played great, the swing feels super, I'm putting nicely and driving it awesome," said a delighted Nathan.
