In what proved to be a low scoring tournament, Nathan has missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro.

A second round of 71 saw him finish his opening 36 holes at even par, three worse than the cut score of 3 under.

With such a low cut likely it was important for Nathan to make a good start to round two, especially after his opening round of 1 under par 69. That hope came unstuck early however with a three putt birdie at his 3rd hole of  his round followed by a double bogey at the 5th hole after finding the fairway bunker from the tee and making a mess of his recovery. 

Nathan should have enough points to gain a start in the opening event of the Fed Ex Cup Series finals starting next week  in New Jersey but how much further he advances in the series will be dependant on how he performs at that event..
