It was only a small break away from golf but the chance for Nathan to play in the season opening SBS Championship in Kapalua on the island of Maui in Hawaii is enough to get him inspired for the start of the 2010 season.

Nathan will tee it up in the field restricted to winners on the 2009 USPGA Tour, his victory at the Canadian Open providing him access to this time honoured event for the first occasion.

The event is played over the Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore designed Plantation layout at the Kapalua Resort and Nathan plays his first round with Troy Matteson at 9.00am on Thursday.
