Nathan is in Greensboro in North Carolina for this week's Wyndham Championship seeking to secure as many Fed Ex Cup points as possible prior to next week's opening event in the FedEx Cup finals.

Currently 111th on the FedEx Cup points table, Nathan seems assured of making the top 125 for next week's Barclay's field but he is keen to advance his cause for the three events beyond where a reducing number of players qualify for the Deutsche Bank Championship, the BMW Championship and the Tour Championship.

"I'm playing ok," said Nathan on the eve of the tournament. "I'm not guaranteed a start next week but would love to play well  this week to try and make it easier to make it through a few weeks of FedEx Cup. I did not do much last week as it was 40 degrees every day  in Dallas but got some good work done when I did. Hopefully that pays off this week."

Nathan has played this event on three previous occasions although only once at the Sedgefield Golf Club. "It's a great course with plenty of OB's and short thick rough.probably not one of the most comfortable courses for me but do like it.!"
