Nathan takes on a strong field this week when he plays the WGC HSBC Championsevent at the Shenshan International Golf Club in Shanghai in China.

Nathan played this event two years ago after winning the New Zealand Open in 2006, finishing 18th although he was in contention before a final round of 78.

This week's field includes Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson and many others of the world's elite and carries prizemoney of US$5 million.

Nathan, who is in the field courtesy of his win at the Canadian Open, is in the first group off one day one when he will play with New Zealander Mark Brown and Mark Murless.
