After what had been a good start to the Quail Hollow Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina, Nathan has recorded a horror second round and will miss the cut by a large margin.

Nathan's strong finish to his opening round of 70 gave some hope for a good week but he was unable to turn around a disastrous start to his second round.  

Nathan dropped seven shots in his first six holes on day two and with little to play for from that point the struggles continued. Nathan eventually finished with an 82.

At this stage Nathan is entered to play in next week's Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach in Florida.
