Nathan has made further progress at the AT&T National tournament at the Arominink Golf Club near Philadelphia, his second round of 69 leaving him in 30th position, at even par and seven shots behind the 36 hole leader, Justin Rose. A double bogey early in his round could have proved an issue for Nathan in terms of making the cut but he recovered nicely to finish with three birdies in his final nine holes including one at his last hole of the day, the par five 9th. The double bogey came when he only just got out of the fairway bunker at the lengthy par four 15th and then struggled to the hole but at even par on an increasingly demanding golf course, Nathan has chance of a good tournament finish.
