Nathan has finished off his 2009 USPGA Tour campaign with an impressive final round of 65 at the WGC HSBC Champions event in Shanghai.
After a disastrous start to the tournament with opening rounds of 79 and 77 there was little for Nathan to do other than to try and get at least something out of the week before a two week break at his home in Toronto near Newcastle. He certainly did that with a final round which included nine birdies.
"Actually I am not hitting it all that badly but my chipping and putting are at an all time low at present," said Nathan during the weekend.
The next time Nathan will be in action will be at the NSW Open at the Vintage Golf Club in the Hunter Valley where he will play host to the PGA Tour of Australasia event.
Nathan has finished the season with earnings of US1,436,000
