Nathan has added a second round of 74 to his opening round of 73 at the BMW Championship at the Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Lemont Illinois.

A birdie at his opening hole (the 10th) when he hit is approach to three feet offfered hope for Nathan to make a move today but a wild tee shot at the par four 16th cost him a double bogey and he struggled a little from there.

Two more bogies saw him finish with 74 and at 5 over he is in 58th position in the tournament and has slipped to 67th in the Fed Ex Cup standings. 

With no cut in this week's event Nathan will get the chance to make ground over the weekend.
