Nathan has eventually finished in 37th position at the Canadian Open after being unable, over the weekend, to continue with what had been a good start to the event. In his final round of 71 today he recovered from a sluggish start, when dropping three shots in his opening seven holes, to record two birdies and a one over par round. Nathan will not play next week's Greenbrier Classic in West Virginia but will instead likely play the Turning Stone Resort Championship the following week although he might yet take a three week break as at this stage he is not eligible for either the Bridgestone or PGA Championships. Footnote: Nathan is to play the Turning Stone Resort event in New York State next week
