Nathan has made the cut at the Mayakoba Classic near Cancun in Mexico, his second round of 68 improving him from an overnight 74th to 58th. 

Nathan started the second round with two consecutive birdies but was frustrated by making progress then giving shots back over the remainder of the round."I was reasonably happy with the way I played although I did hit the occasional wild iron shot but overall not too bad," he said not long after his round

Nathan starts round three at even par and ten shots behind the leaders, although five under is currently running inside the top ten on the demanding Greg Norman layout and two good rounds to finish the event could see Nathan make considerable progress.
