green_nathan_adp8893Despite a shaky second round of 74, Nathan has safely made the cut at the Transitions Championship, his opening round of 68 providing the cushion for day two.

Nathan started with an early birde at his second hole of the day when he holed a 12 footer at the par five 11th on day two but then began to struggle and by the turn was at two over for the day. He reversed the trend with a birdie at his 16th hole of the day when he holed a bunker shot for birdie but bogies at his 17th and 18th holes saw him slip back to three over for the day and at even par for the tournament he is in 39th position.

The congested nature of the leaderboard has 58 players within six shots of the lead so if Nathan is able to get things back on track over the weekend there is still a chance for a very good finish.
