Nathan has added an even par second round of 70 at the Crowne Plaza Colonial Invitational and, although he slipped 22 places from his opening round position, he is still well enough placed as the field heads into the weekend. Nathan is at 5 under and eight shots from the lead currently held by Bryce Molder and shares 27th position.
A birdie at his opening hole had Nathan on the heels of the then leaders but two dropped shots before the turn saw him slip back before birdies at his 12th and 15th holes had him well placed. A bogey at his final hole after finding the water with his approach was a disappointing way to finish but it could have been worse as in the end if proved to be good bogey save
