Nathan has finished well outside the cutline at the Quail Hollow Championship, rounds of 77 and 74 leaving him a long way from where he needed to be if he wanted weekend work.

On a positive note their were eight birdies in the opening 36 holes on the demanding Quail Hollow layout but generally his putting was poor and when he got into trouble he was unable to recover. 

It is not a golf course that Nathan has ever played well so he can take some solace in that as heads south to Ponte Vedra Beach and the TPC Sawgrass. Nathan is now scheduled to play in next week's Players Championship at that venue.
