It was a horror weekend for Nathan at the Transitions Championship in Tampa Bay his rounds of 83 and 79 seeing him slip back from contention to finish at the rear of those who made the weekend field.
After an opening round of 68 on Thursday a second round of 74 had Nathan still well positioned heading into the weekend but seven dropped shots in his first seven holes on Saturday set in motion a chain of events that led to his worst score on the PGA Tour.
Nathan will now take this coming week off as he is ineligible for the Arnold Palmer Championship but at this stage expects to be back for the Houston Open starting on April 2nd.
