img_1343Nathan has finished with a round of 75 at his first Masters but that tells only part of the story. Two eagles, three birdies, five bogeys, a double bogey and a triple bogey add up to a round of 75 but it was one amazing roller coaster. Nathan finished in 48th position but just to have made the cut on debut at Augusta National was pleasing.

"I was all over the place today but to finish with two eagles on the back nine including the hole in one on 16 in front of all those people was a great feeling and one I will take with me. I hit a 6 iron at the middle of the green at the 16th knowing it would likely feed back to the left and it did just as I had hoped. Of course I was not expecting it to go in but what a thrill when it did."

"It was a good week. I was disappointed overall with my driving and my putting but it was nice to finish things off as well as I did. The shots I hit on 13 and 16 were exactly as I imagined them before playing them and for them to result in eagles was great."

Nathan will now head to Hilton head for next week's Heritage Classic at Harbour Town.
